Hollow plastic formwork channel type is a solution which allows to facilitate the design of the object, retaining all its strength characteristics, while significantly saving time and money for the construction of facilities in the monolithic construction of buildings. Used worldwide for construction of shopping, entertainment and sports centers, factories, logistics warehouses and factories, office and business centers, municipal purposes. In this example, assume that we use a form of D3 in the center panels of the ceiling.

  • Depth of formworks 325 mm. Let the upper depth 150 mm Overall depth = 475 mm.
  • Full fill volume per m2 = 1.0 x 1.0 x 0.475 = 0.475 m3/m2.
  • The volume of the void portion per m2 = 0.224 m3/m2.
  • Concrete volume per m2 0.475 - 0.224 = 0.251 m3/m2.


The maximum recommended height of the potting mix over form is 175 mm.
