Usage instructions

  1. The surface must be clean, smooth, solid. Inspect the surface of third-party substances, oils, rust, detergents, and wastes. If the surface is cracked or damaged, they must first be repaired using the repair solutions Teknorep 300 and Teknorep 300EX. Use Teknogrout EX after 3 to 4 days after the repair surfaces.
  2. To prepare the solution, pour the required amount of water into a container. Using a mixer (400-500 rpm) gradually add the mixture. Mixing is carried out for 1-2 minutes until a homogeneous mixture. Stand the mixture for 1-2 minutes, then continue mixing for 2 minutes with the addition of components to the formation of a mixture of the required density adhering to the recommended proportions.
  3. Apply the mixture evenly on the surface for 5-20 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature. Pour the mixture must on the one hand, while evenly distributing it over the surface to prevent the formation of voids and to expedite the filling of space. The height of the fill layer should be from 10 to 60 mm. optionally, the fill layer is greater than 60 mm is recommended to be added to the solution fillers 5-12 mm long, at the rate of 30% of the total amount of the mixture. The filler is added to the previously prepared solution to obtain a homogeneous mixture for 3-5 minutes.
  4. The prepared formwork must be strong, rigid, sealed and securely mounted. Before pouring the mixture of wooden shuttering boards should be treated with a lubricant for formwork.

Recommendations for the use of

  • When used externally in the first 2 hours of curing, the mixture must be protected from moisture, sunlight and frost. The reaction time in products based on cement varies depending on the temperature of the soil and the environment.
  • When used in low temperatures, it is necessary to use warm water, at elevated temperature – cold.
  • Work carried out in compliance with safety and hygiene standards, use of masks and glasses.
  • Newly laid mortar must be protected from adverse weather conditions (direct sunlight, high temperature ≤35, rain and frost).
  • Equipment after use should be immediately washed with water until solidification of the mixture. Otherwise, it can be cleaned only mechanically.
