Teknobond 460 - one-component polyurethane binder for paving of crumb rubber.

The polyurethane binder is a kind of one-component polyurethane adhesive having defined physico-chemical properties. Used for laying collapsible seamless coating, will ensure the high elastic-strength properties, high wear resistance, temperature resistance and cold resistance.

Scope

  • A Playground for children.
  • Playground.
  • Treadmills.
  • The safety coating on stairs and ramps
  • Indoor coverage for Pets.
  • Walking paths.
  • Floor coverings in offices, sports and gyms.
  • Blind area pools.

The features and benefits

  • One-component, ready to use.
  • Does not contain organic solvents, plasticizers, fillers.
  • It has optimum viscosity.
  • Has excellent adhesion to rubber and EPDM crumbs.
  • Forms a monolithic, durable, elastic, water - and petrol-resistant product, characterized by temperature resistance and resistance to frost.

Usage instructions

Rubber granules mixed with a binder and applied to the floor. The base should be carefully progruntovav. Priming the surface provides a strong adhesive connection between the stowed cover and base, provides strengthening of the Foundation. It is highly recommended that the rate of binder was not less than 20%. For EPDM granules or SBR should be used up to 20% of the used quantity (0.8 kg EPDM, SBR 1 kg). As the size of rubber granules becomes smaller, the number of binders that you want, you need to increase.

Notes on application / Limitations

To ensure high adhesion of the coating, the basis clear of a dirt, a dust, remove areas of concrete and asphalt, subjected to destruction. The concrete surface subjected to grinding to remove laitance. Grinding concrete is carried out on dry or slightly damp substrate, then removed the dust with a vacuum cleaner. If the coating is done on the street, it is desirable to provide a slight slope grounds for water. Before coating, the substrate must be clean, dry and slightly rough. Surface temperature must be between 10 ° C to 30 ° C. Surface must be dry, the moisture content of the surface coating should not exceed 4% for concrete surfaces. Humidity should range from 40% to 80%.

After application the surface must be protected from direct sunlight, atmospheric precipitation and high temperatures (≥ 35 °C).

Tools should be immediately cleaned with TEKNO TINER, because after hardening it can be cleaned only mechanically.

Spillage on the skin should be washed with warm water and detergent.
